The Language of Flowers

Over the years many people and cultures have given meaning to various flowers. Flowers were given such meaning that it became a language all in itself, depending upon the culture changed the meaning.

Silk flowers, hold the same symbolism as living flowers, thus the language of silk flowers remains constant.

In the same spirit, the color of a silk flower holds meaning depending upon the culture.

The language has stood the test of time and has endured for generations. Here we will look into the language, or meaning, of flowers and color.


The Language of Color

Lavender usually means refinement and delicate beauty.


Orange is the color of enthusiasm and power.


Red often means love and desire.


Blue speaks of calm, peaceful and relaxed


Purple flowers reflect royalty and success.


White suggests innocence and purity.


Pink displays happiness.


Yellow flowers show friendship


Green flowers are the color of youth and good health.
